"Ekweme" Crooner, Osinachi Nwachukwu Dies Of Throat Cancer

Osinachi died this evening after battling with throat cancer for about two months. According to reports, she’d been on life support for some time, but unfortunately gave up the ghost this evening. Some of her songs includes "Nara Ekele" by Pastor Paul Enenche (Dunamis, Abuja), "Ekwueme" by Prospa

Her last release was in September last year, when she released Ikem, God of Power.

Her family was yet to issue a statement on her death.

She is survived by her husband Peter and four children.

She was the twin sister of “Amarachi Grace Eze, who is also a powerful singer


Since her career as a gospel singer, she has featured in some popular gospel songs like “Nara Ekele” by Pastor Paul Enenche (Dunamis, Abuja), “Ekwueme” by Prospa Ochimana, and “You no dey use me play” by Emma.

Friends and well wishers have sent in their heartfelt condolence messages as they mourn the demise of the late singer.

am so sad baby since i heard the death of this my favorite singer. and since february, i have been playing and downloading her songs, storing them in my laptop. both her songs when she was in a gospel music group called the glorious singers, she was the lead singer of the group then with her twin sister amarachi with their golden voices. chaii ossy why naa, why so soon. rest in glorious peace sister
