American singer Beyonce proved her love for husband Jay-Z by buying him the world's fastest road car for $2 million, The Sun reported Wednesday.

The 29-year-old pop star treated her rapper husband to a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport for his 41st birthday.

She had to wait a year after ordering the car, which can do 255 miles per hour and goes from zero to 60 miles per hour in 2.5 seconds.

But she managed to keep it secret, and Jay-Z was thrilled with the surprise birthday present, which added to his already impressive collection of cars.

For an info, the Bugatti Veyron is among the most stunning technical achievements in automotive engineering. It’s been called the equivalent of a Concorde jet on tires and a lot of people would not disagree. The car costs more than $2 million and all told, only a few hundred will ever exist.
