A pastor at a pentecostal church in Ekiti State, identified as Adunbarin Kehinde, has been accused of assaulting his younger sister, Emily, over an undisclosed sum of money.
It was gathered that the alleged assault occurred on Wednesday, August 10 at their residence in Itapa area of the state.
According to a source, “Emily is a signatory to the family account and he said she has spent the money in the account but she told him to go to the bank to get the statement of account because she is not the only signatory to the account.
He got furious and said she was too arrogant and disrespectful, that how would he go to the bank to make such confirmation. An argument ensued and he hit her repeatedly, punched her on the face and left her with a broken lip.”
