Actress Kemi Afolabi has sought help on behalf of her daughter, Darasimi, who is in Nigeria. The actress began treatment for her year-long illness, lupus after announcing she was battling the autoimmune disease in early 2022. The mother of one, who had been receiving special treatment in Baltimore, Maryland, USA, returned to social media with a video of herself looking fit and healthy. Kemi Afolabi shared a caption on social media seeking assistance from Nigerians in the United States travelling to Nigeria.
The actress sought help to send gifts for her daughter, who will resume school soon. “Anyone in Maryland USA leaving to Nigeria this weekend or max next week? Help me take something to my daughter for school Edakun. Thank you in advance,” she wrote.
