Rivers Governor Nyesom Wike has opened up on why he is fighting with the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar and National Chairman Senator Iyorchia Ayu. According to him, his anger stems from the failure of the duo to honour their agreements. Wike said Ayu vowed to resign if the presidential candidate of the party emerged from the north for a southern to take over. He said Atiku, after emerging victorious, visited him, solicited his support and promised that Ayu would resign in the spirit of the PDP’s Constitution. Wike said it was unbelievable that Ayu and Atiku had failed to live up to their promises, insisting that the candidate and the party chairman can never come from the same zone without consequences.

Listen Wike. Don't ever shift ground  for those power hungry  bandits from north.  If you  make any mistake of aiding another northerner to power you will face the wrath of the aggrieved  southerners.  Watching TV last night i  saw  the troupe of  PDP gubernatorial candidates mostly  from  north  trooping into your house . What was their mission? To cajole you into helping them into power like your brother  Amaechi  did in 2014/2015 . This is  the result today.  They used and  dumped Amaechi. Am warning you again.  You will have yourself to blame if you did. The southerners are watching you.
