the PHE teacher was lecturing his students on the various professions in sport. He started by listing out the various terms used in naming the people who participate in the various sporting activities, like this;

 a person who plays FOOTBALL is called a FOOTBALLER
 a person who plays BASKETBALL is called a BASKETBALLER
 a person who plays VOLLEYBALL is called a VOLLEYBALLER
 

he decided to throw a question at his pupils
he asked, the person who plays TABLE-TENNIS is called what???

a pupil replied, A TABLE-TENNISER
