The Nigerian lady who was fired just three hours into her new job has provided more context about the incident. Initially, she shared her shock online after her managing director dismissed her shortly after she started her role.
In her recent social media update, she clarified that she had been assigned to the company by the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and had completed all necessary documentation. She reported to work as scheduled during the first week of June.
However, shortly after beginning her duties, she was called to meet with the managing director. During this meeting, she was informed that her degree did not match the company's requirements, despite her demonstrating the necessary skills for the department to which she was assigned. This discrepancy led to her immediate dismissal.
The lady recounted the conversation with the MD and expressed her frustration and disappointment at the sudden termination.
