Nigeria Needs Prayers From US, Not Terror Alert – Defense Minister, Bashir Magashi

The Minister of Defence, Bashir Magashi has stated that Nigeria needs prayers from the United States government and not a terror alert. Magashi made the assertion while responding to questions from members of the House of Representatives Committee on Defence during the budget hearing on Tuesday. Recall that the US had warned of a possible terrorist attack in the FCT Abuja, saying the terrorists are aiming at government facilities, places of worship and schools, among others.

Following the terror alert, some government and private establishments have shut down operations over the fear of attack by the terrorist. “I think what we need is prayers from the United States, not giving us information that will make our citizens to be either confused or not being able to take appropriate action,” Magashi said. The minister also disclosed that the intelligence agencies have provided useful information that would guide the government on addressing the terror alert, adding that the main technique is to ensure vigilance and proactive measures against any possible attack.

I can’t but laugh out loud .No wonder Nigeria in this mess .Just imagine a government high ranking official is saying .Prayer ? U guys are waking dead .In your dead brains u believe prayer will solve Nigeria problem but not action from the government? Infact ,Nigeria should better start  fighting now to get their country back from this brain dead idiots . WAR is what we want now in Nigeria.And I mean a devastating WAR

Fact findings on what? the US is an evil country plain and simple.. they want civil war in Nigeria!! if that happens today by Friday u will see an inflow of that stupid ammunition into Nigeria!! so don't try to put it as if the US has any moral standard they are all evil...

What an undeserving and useless Defence minister? Prayer from the USA? Are you serious? Who told you nations or Govts fight terrorists or wars with prayer? You need to either resign immediately; as you are clearly incompetent and out of your depth. Or PMB should sack you summarily (we know he won't), as you are clearly not up to the job. You are a disgrace of a defence minister and a laughing stock.
