Nigerians have taken to Twitter to mock the newly unveiled naira notes by President Muhammadu Buhari. Recall that we had reported that the president on Wednesday unveiled new N1000, N500 and N200 as earlier announced by the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele. Many Nigerians expressed disappointment over the new look of the naira.
Nigerians lashed out at the Federal Government for only changing the colour of the Naira notes, saying they expected more changes. Former federal lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani who took to his Twitter handle to express his opinion, said “If it’s Naira colour,the CBN should have just engage Snapchat”.
