A Nigerian writer and filmmaker, Onyeka Nwelue has said he can never live in Nigeria.

Nwelue stated this in a tweet on his Twitter handle on Saturday.

According to him, he can live in the country even if Jesus Christ, “Amadioha” and other saints take over Aso Rock, Nigeria’s seat of power.

He argued that the average Nigerian is Nigeria’s problem.

He recalled that those who kidnapped him sometime back did not come from Aso Rock, but they are typical Nigerians, who would normally criticise politicians.

He wrote, “Of course, I can never ever live in Nigeria. Even if Amadioha, Jesus Christ, and other Saints take over Aso Rock.

“The average Nigerian is Nigeria’s problem. When I was kidnapped, the kidnappers did not come from Aso Rock. Typical Nigerians, who’d normally criticize politicians.”

Let's take a minute to ask ourselves why most Nigerians behave the way they do ? I still believe 100% that Nigerians wouldn't be this destructive towards each other if they had a better government. The kidnapping, rituals and other corruption going on among the citizens is an outlet for frustration bestowed on them by bad leadership and because they can't challenge or query these leaders, they turn on fellow citizens....this isn't making any excuse for crime but just pointing out the truth we tend to forget.

The man made a valid point, you made a point as well, but one thing I'll say is this, do you know that bad leadership reaches every Nigerian in one way or the other?? So should everyone take up arms and go into crimes because of bad leadership??

Buhari is the Nigerian problem. So tribalistic, nepotistic. He father's the herders, he pardons killers and kills unarmed agitators. All his service chiefs are all Fulanis. He is uneducated and understand nothing. He has so divided Nigeria that we becomes enemies of our selves.

okay I see. I'm not even going to prove anything to you. So according to you, Nigeria had no problem before Buhari came and bring all sorts of problems to Nigeria, and by 2023 when he's gone, all Nigeria's problems should also vanish since the source of the problem will be no more.
You people should continue telling yourselves lies.
