Doesn't it make sense to wanna know why the break up is happening? i mean how would u feel if a dude/gurl leaves u without an explanation? wouldn't u be appalled and want to know why? And in some cases it brings closure for some ppl and helps them to move on with their lives. Not saying that is mandatory, it's just a humane thing to do if you really did care for that person.
