Some terrorists have been seen brandishing the new naira notes. In a viral video, notorious terrorist leader, Machalla Baleri boasted that he has enough of the new naira notes to buy weapons amid a scarcity of the naira. This is as banking halls across various commercial banks in Lagos, Osun, Ekiti, and other parts of the country witnessed minimal activity as frustrated customers resorted to alternative means of cash withdrawal following the scarcity of naira notes in the banks.

While most banking halls were empty due to the paucity of funds in bank vaults, large crowds had formed outside some of the few banks that were rumoured to be preparing to load their Automated Teller Machines. But the bandit leader, in an unverified video released online on Wednesday, claimed that he had enough of the new naira notes.

Baleri, who spoke in the Hausa language in the two minutes 20 seconds video clip, claimed he had up to N10 million of the new naira notes. He also claimed he had enough new naira notes to purchase more weapons.

This clip just made me get tired and tired of this country.....a friend queued in bank from 8:13 am till 4:25pm yesterday and yet couldn't get just 150k out of that bank, a lot of good Nigerians can't get enough fund or exchange the old notes with the new yet those terrorising the peace of the people can buy more weapon to kill with more than enough of the so called SCARCE note, and the same Nigerians will still want to vote in the same political parties sponsoring these damned terrorists. Which way naija which way??

When they tell you that these Bandits are sponsored and shielded by those in Govt., better keep shut than argue. That said, those in Nigeria should just try and get bank apps for transfers and save themselves this back breaking stress. Everyone should as a matter of urgency, learn how to make transfers. One life, may just depend on it.

True but many may still need some money to buy things my brother. Take for instance can u go to a pepper seller and tell her you will do transfer? Or you bought a soft drink from a random shop and you request to do transfer, or a commercial bus etc. All these little things needed to be paid in cash.

The number of terrorists in the north are  actually  more than the entire  south Easterners  . El Rufai  where are you? You  always say  you have the numbers in the north.  Nigerians are  seeing the  growing  number of terrorists.
