Nigerian musician, Seun Kuti has revealed that when he campaigned for Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress in 1999, he was a fool. According to him, he was naive and went ahead to campaign for Tinubu due to his friendship with his father and family. He was reacting to criticisms that followed his comment that Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of Labour Party cannot save Nigeria.
 
Recall also that Peter Okoye of Psquare had tackled him over the comment. Okoye said Obi is a Nigerian capable of changing the country for good. He went further to tell Kuti to stop trying to make people lose interest in the electoral process. Watch Kuti's video admitting that he was a fool when he supported Tinubu:

An advise for you, stick with your family's principle of staying apolitical. Don't market or de-market anyone. Just stay clear.
