He Has a Case to Answer - Police CSP Reacts to Video of Abuja Pastor With AK-47 Rifle in Church

Police spokesperson, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi reacts to trending video of Abuja pastor carrying an AK-47 while preaching on Sunday February 12.

According to church members, the clergyman Pastor Uche Aigbe who is the presiding pastor of House on The Rock Abuja, carried the arms for illustration while preaching.

However some Nigerians have kicked against it saying for whatever reasons he has, it is illegal for him to carry any weapon since he is not a security agent.

Reacting via his Twitter handle, Adejobi said the video has ben forwarded to the Commissioner of Police for the FCT. He stated that the clergyman will have a case to answer as no one is authorised to bear arms except an officer of the law.

He has a case to answer? I laff. How many churches and their leaders have been gunned down during service, u pple can't protect den lemme do d job myself. What of those boko haram and other terrorists that u pple are negotiating with is it legal for them not to mention herdsmen....who knows, maybe that man has been secretly threatened before going with it.
