Some famous Nigerian pastors have shown support for the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) Peter Obi ahead of the general elections. Founder of Omega Fire Ministries(OMF) Apostle Johnson Suleman on Sunday 19, 2023 declared that he and his family would be casting their vote for the standard bearer of the Labour Party (LP) Peter Obi.
Suleman, during his Sunday sermon, shared on the church’s YouTube page, announced that his household is ‘Obidient’. He explained unlike other people who’ve been making noise about their preferred presidential candidate on social media, his church has been working behind the scene in support of Obi.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome
Lead Pastor of the Believers Love World aka Christ Embassy, Chris Oyakhilome, has dropped a clue for the members of the megachurch to vote for Obi. In a viral video, the pastor narrated to his members what was revealed to him by God concerning three presidential candidates. Although no name was mentioned, Pastor Chris gave his members a clue about the third candidate’s saying “his name is in the Bible”.
Pastor Enenche
The founder and General Overseer of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Pastor Paul Enenche, on Sunday asked Nigerians to support Obi, claiming he is the only credible candidate among the three major Presidential aspirants. The cleric disclosed this during his Sunday sermon at the Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Abuja. Although the Pastor refused to mention the name of this candidate, he stated that the candidate is already well-known by everyone.
Pastor Chibuzor Gift Chinyere (OPM)
The General Overseer of the Omega Power Ministry (OPM), Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere in August 2022, described Obi as the Moses sent by God to rescue Nigeria. The man of God who was nominated alongside Peter Obi as the MAN OF THE YEAR by a foremost community TV in Nigeria ‘Igbere TV’ thanked the media platform for deeming it fit to nominate him for such a high calibre award.
Pastor Odumeje
Pastor Odumeje has been one of the pastors who have been supporting Obi. In a post last year, the pastor revealed his undaunted support for Obi. “Whatever Lagos State is Today Is As A Result Of The Investment Of Igbo People Living And Doing Business There. Igbos Do Not H@te Anybody, If They Do, They Won’t Be Going To Other States Outside Igboland To Live With Their Families, Invest Their Money And Develop There.
