The spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council, Festus Keyamo has accused the Labour Party (LP) of “riling up” Nigerians against the judiciary.

Keyamo made these claims while speaking in an interview with Channels Television on Thursday.

On Wednesday, the vice-presidential candidate of the LP, Datti Baba-Ahmed, insisted that the president-elect, Bola Tinubu, didn’t meet the constitutional requirements to win the February 25 election.

Earlier on Thursday, Keyamo petitioned the Department of State Services (DSS) over Obi’s comments, which he described as inciting and capable of disrupting law and order in the country.

“If I don’t say go to court, the next thing I will say is that come let’s fight. Why are they using such sentences in a derogatory manner?

“It is what is provided by law and people have actually retrieved their mandate by going to court. It is only when it does not favour you.

“That is what the LP is doing. That is why I have to petition them to the DSS,” Keyamo said.

The channel's TV interview and the comments of  Baba Datti to resort to violence despite the ongoing election court/ tribunal proceedings are indeed inciting. One would expect someone aspiring for National leadership at the highest level in the country to be more cautious of what they say on National TV despite several cautions by the interviewer Seun Okinbaloye, Datti said he has made up his mind, I find that extremely unnerving especially coming from a candidate whose party never even came a close second in the presidential race claiming that his mandate has been stolen What a joke !.
