How to organize a business trip to the Philippines?

I was invited to a conference in the Philippines. However, according to the conditions, I have to pay for the airfare and accommodation myself. Tell me how to find cheap flights and save on accommodation?

Reconfirm your appointments. Now and one week prior. Make sure attendees you are expecting are around. Make sure you have enough time built in between appointments to travel from one to another. Find out the direction of traffic into/out of the central business district and peak times. Reconfirm your transport. We have grab. Only. So if you have tight timelines, consider arranging for more consistent transport. If it's your first time and/or have a sensitive gut, drink bottled water. Hope the above helps.
