A Gambian Bride is excited after her husband gifted her the sum of D28,000 which converts to GHC4000 for passing a virginity test.
“They husband was so happy that he placed a huge sum of D28,000 under her pillow”. A relative revealed.
A viral video online shows the bride and her family members celebrating after she successfully passed the test.
A lot of people thought she won’t pass the test because of her “bougie” life on social media where she often flaunts her body.
The bride per the culture had to undergo a virginity test to prove whether she maintained chastity until the time of marriage.
The video has sparked mixed reactions from netizens as some congratulated her on passing the test while others quizzed if the same procedure was done for the man.
