Investigative journalist releases memo showing that President Tinubu approved over N24 billion to “offset the liabilities of 2023 Hajj carriers”

NAHCON’s Deputy Director of Information and Publication, Mousa Ubandawaki had denied the bailout in a recent interview with PUNCH Newspapers.

There has been public outcry since the approval was made public through a leaked memo as Nigerians are asking why such an amount should be released for a religious pilgrimage amidst the current economic challenges.
