BREAKING: Benue Community Currently Under Herdsmen Attack

Suspected armed Fulani herdsmen are currently attacking Tyo-tu community in Makurdi, the Benue State Capital.

Tyo-tu is located along Gboko Road in Makurdi.

A popular Benue-born blogger, social media influencer, activist and humanitarian, Ukan Kurugh, said the attack was still ongoing, calling on the security agencies to quickly deploy their personnel to salvage the situation.

“There is an attack right now at Tyo tu along Gboko Road by suspected herdsmen. The security agencies should act fast while travellers are advised to ply that road with caution now,” Ukan Kurugh posted on his Facebook wall.

Attacks, kidnappings and killings by suspected Fulani herdsmen have become daily affairs in Benue State, defying all solutions so far.

The core North are fully aware and in support of these incessant attacks on Benue and Plateau states. The Nigerian army can shamelessly shut down market ( Barnex) but does nothing to help the middle beltans.
