Abdullah Mohammed, the son of the Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, has blamed Nigeria's economic woes on oil theft.

Abdullah stated this in a post on Sunday, February 25, when he shared a screenshot of former President, Olusegun Obasanjo's statement at a recent book launch.

Obasanjo, who was represented by former governor of Niger State, Babangida Aliyu, had said over 80 per cent of Nigeria's crude oil were stolen.

According to the ex-president, one of the reasons Nigeria's economy is in ruins is that while other oil-producing countries have records of their oil production, Nigeria cannot account for hers due to theft.

Echoing Obasanjo's words, Abdullah said: “At the heart of our economic problems lies oil theft! Without addressing oil theft, we will all remain in perpetual lamentation as a nation.”

So all your hope is on the crude oil in the South. How about lack of productivity?

Look at the GOAT, You mean Nigeria will not work without the absolute oil revenues . Have you minus the excessive cost of running of your governance. Tinubu's first step to approve the mammoth cost of officer vehicles for legislators was stupid , inept and  unforgivable. Why not the  vehicles assemble in Nigeria without the bullet nonsense. Why not low cost cars that can do the job  and cost  one hundred time lesser to the bullet proof SUV. Why not question official emoluments of all top leaders including the wasteful serving and ex governors emoluments. start with that then we'll join your train to resurrect the nation. Otherwise, get off the road, you goat.
