Actress and famous music producer Funke Akindele has reacted to Toyin Abraham’s message on rivalry in the industry.
Toyin Abraham had taken to Instagram to speak out about a fierce competition just to be number one in the Yoruba industry.
She had expressed how that competition had created lots of foes in the industry. She had gone on to beg Nollywood people to stop trying to tear down the industry with gossips.
She further expressed that Funke has always been the number one after the likes of Aunty Bukky and Aunty Faithia while she was next in line.
She stated how the industry has continued to treat her and Funke Akindele as rivals and that she would not want to compete anymore. She went on to adore Funke Akindele for being a winner.
However, while her epistle was very long, Funke Akindele took to her comment section to react to her expressions. She wished her all the best.
In her words, she had this to say,
“Toyin baby, all the best, dear.”
Her short and direct response got some netizens speculating as they expressed that she should have worded her words differently and made it more heartfelt, especially considering the lengthy message that Toyin Abraham had shared.
