The ongoing governorship election in Ward 8, Unit 1 of Orhionmwon Local Government Area, Edo State, faced disruption as voters halted the process due to the absence of election result sheets.
In a video circulating online, frustrated voters were seen demanding the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials provide the result sheets. However, the officials explained that the sheets had not yet arrived, stating, "they are bringing it."
The delay sparked anger among the voters, who refused to participate in the election without the crucial documents, voicing concerns over the transparency of the process.
This incident follows earlier reports of potential plans by political parties to forge results, according to Daily Post.
