A Nigerian vulcanizer has confessed to providing information that led to a kidnapping, admitting he received $2,000 for his involvement. His confession, now circulating widely on TikTok, has sparked public outrage.
In the viral video, the man, who remains unnamed, is shown seated while detailing his role in the crime. He admitted that, shortly after collecting his payment from the kidnappers, he moved to Epe in an attempt to evade suspicion.
During his confession, he disclosed that he is married with two children and explained his decision to relocate after the transaction. When recounting how he facilitated the kidnapping, he admitted, “Na me show them the road to kidnap him,” indicating he led the kidnappers to their target.
Local authorities are reportedly investigating the incident, and the vulcanizer’s confession has raised concerns about the role of insiders in facilitating abductions across the region.
