A Nigerian internet fraudster, commonly known as a ‘Yahoo boy,’ has caused a stir online after sharing the heartbreaking news of his paying client’s sudden death in a car accident. The individual took to his X (formerly Twitter) account, expressing his shock and sorrow over the tragic incident.
In a video accompanying the post, the fraudster, visibly shaken, wrote: “I don die dawg, my paying CL don die.” He further shared a personal email he received from a relative of the deceased, informing him of the client's untimely death three months earlier.
The email, addressed to the fraudster, stated:
The relative continued, stating that they would be deleting the deceased’s content and passing on the phone to their daughter, adding: “Again, I’m sorry to have told you in this way but see you keep texting him. So, before I delete everything, I wanted to share this sad news.”
The post quickly gained widespread attention, with many online users reacting to the emotional revelation.
