The National Hospital Abuja has issued an appeal to the public to help identify a middle-aged man admitted to its Trauma Intensive Care Unit (ICU) following a road traffic accident.

According to a statement released on Sunday by the hospital’s spokesperson, Dr. Tayo Haastrup, the unidentified man was involved in an accident along Jabi Express Road on December 21, 2024. He was brought to the hospital unconscious by a good Samaritan and has been receiving medical care since his arrival.

Dr. Haastrup emphasized the importance of reuniting the patient with his family or loved ones, noting that all efforts are being made to ensure he receives the best treatment.

“The management of the hospital is appealing to any member of the public whose relative has been missing since the mentioned date to visit the Trauma ICU of the National Hospital Abuja for identification and further action,” the statement read.

The hospital has urged anyone with information about the patient’s identity to come forward to assist in the case.
