
A violent clash between rival bandit factions in Galadimawa community, Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State, has resulted in the deaths of several terrorists, security sources confirmed on Thursday, April 17, 2025.
The deadly confrontation, which reportedly broke out for undisclosed reasons, led to heavy gunfire exchanges as the two armed groups turned on each other in a fierce turf battle.
According to intelligence shared with counterinsurgency expert Zagazola Makama, the cause of the infighting remains unclear, but sources suggest it may have stemmed from disputes over territorial control or shared criminal proceeds.
Although official figures are yet to be released, multiple fighters are believed to have been killed during the clash.
In the aftermath of the incident, security operatives swiftly intervened in the area, retrieving the bodies of the deceased insurgents and transporting them to an undisclosed location.
