Nollywood veteran Tito Harrison has revealed the painful cost of his battle with liver disease and chronic ulcer — one that left him homeless, carless, and nearly alone
In an emotional chat on Biola Bayo’s podcast, Harrison shared that he sold his house, car, and personal belongings just to stay alive. Eventually, he could no longer afford rent and had to move in with his mother-in-law.
“When I was battling with liver disease & chronic ulcer, my wife stood by me when everybody left me. It is good to have a good wife. I sold my house, car & everything, I couldn't pay rent again so we had to be staying at my mother-in-law's place”
Despite everything, he credits his wife as his biggest blessing — the one person who never left.
“My wife stood by me when everybody left me. If I come to this world again, it is my wife I will marry.”
Harrison also expressed deep disappointment in colleagues who mocked his situation instead of helping.
“Someone said, ‘Tito Harrison is finished. He’s now living in his wife’s mother’s house’… If you can’t rally around me, don’t kill my reputation.”
