I guess mode knows exactly what is saying, forget about the denotation of the expression and reason with connotation with him as a star. stop hating. there's no competition. ''OMO WA NAANI EJE O SE''. MODE BABA, No fumble.

There is no contextual meaning attached to that expression. I think mode should be conscious of "context" before coming up with such dogmatic claims.

I wish Mode 9 (given name: Babatunde Olusegun) was as proud of his nigerian passport as he
is of his british one. We all know why he cannot be proud of his nigerian passport. Nigerians
have serious credibility issues in some countries.
Reasons include financial crimes 419 committed by some nigerian overseas, drug trafficking, and
other serious crimes some nigerians engage in most countries. It might interest you
to know that some of these criminals are not nigerians but are identifies as nigerians.

Explanation: Nigerian passports are easy to get. Lots of people trade in nigerian passports.
Anyone can get  a nigerian passport in the streets on Accra, Cotonou, or Lome.  In some
countries, nigerians are known to have sold their passports to other nationals who in turn
used them when they commit crimes. In china, a man was killed after a transaction went bad.
When the police checked his pocket he was carrying a nigerian passport. He bought it from
a nigerian who later confessed that he needed the money.

Nigeria need to take steps to control our passport. Too many passports are issued as replacements
for "lost" or "stolen" passports.
Until the image of nigerians improves overseas, Mode9 and others will only be proud to hold foreign
passports while hiding their nigerian passports. Not long ago, the nigerian passport was a source of
pride.....not any more.

THANKS BROS, 100% correct well we  should thank God for  new ECOWAS E-PASSPORT.

“Before now, I didn’t own a British passport having been born there, but now everything is different.

After the initial hesitance of the home office to handle my matter fast, finally I’m a proud owner of the most respected documents in the world (my British passport).

The period I submitted and waited for my documents to be processed was the longest period I ever waited for anything in my entire life. It costs  me so much pain as I couldn’t return home to Nigeria last year to honour some  shows. I also lost an opportunity to travel to Germany to honour another date.

With the new passport, I can travel to more than 126 countries in the world without fear or the inconvenience of waiting for a visa” , an obviously delighted Mode 9 gushed over the phone.

Mode 9 who is expected to arrive the country anytime from now,  disclosed that “I’m only hanging in here because I’m working on an album project called Hip Hop Movement.

Already I have signed collaboration deal with some guys from Kenya, UK, Ghana and South Africa and soon we’d be ready to roll”.

That was according to Modo in an interview with vanguard, do you agree that British passport is the most respected document in the world?
totally absurd.i think these guys(so-called naija celeb.) are losing it,the way they approaches questions are awful and pathetic.they should improve their rhetorical skills or they will lose their Nigerian fans.

u are right, our so called nija celebs. really needs to be lectured on how to talk in public,, they are so ignorant.. ive seen many of then getting loosed like that guy before, all in the name of interview..

Absolutely so. I own a British Passport but do not share the so-called star's sentiment.
i wonder, they act as if they are the only one with  british pass..i think they really need to be lectured on their communication skills. they lack that.

They need not just lectures by national indoctrination and patriotism.
you are right, its quite a pity the way they behave nowadays.
