Peace Edwin Okafor,a graduate in Political Science from University of Calabar, is currently one of the fastest rising models in Nigeria. The fair looking catwalk princess who recently sat down for a chat with NOLLYWOODGOSSIP‘s NOLLYWOODGOSSIP MAKING STARS revealed her passion to storm Nollywood. Excerpt:

Please can you tell us a little about yourself?

My name is Peace Edwin Okafor. I am from Isuochi in Abia state. I am a graduate in Political Science from University of Calabar and I’m a model. I am the fourth born in a family of seven.

Are you currently working on any project?

No, am not working on any project at the moment

When did you enter into modelling?

I entered into modelling in 2003. I started modelling in my secondary school, De Wis College Calabar.

How did you enter into modelling?

It all started back then in school, when I contested as Miss De Wis College and won. So I decided to take it up from there.

Tell us about the modelling jobs you’ve done

I contested 3 years ago for the Most Beautiful Girl in Abuja.

I also did some jobs with Dolce Entertainment Abuja and Vanel Suites Calabar

What would you consider the biggest modeling job you’ve ever done?

Dolce Entertainment Abuja. I’ll say that was my biggest modelling job because of the exposure I got and all that.

Has Modelling always been your dream?

Yes, modelling has always been my dream, right from when I was little.

Aside modelling, what else do you see yourself doing – movies, Music?

I want to enter into movies. I want to storm Nollywood…and in future into music.

Have you ever modeled Nood?

Not really.

What’s closest you came to Nood in the course your work?

That’s when I contested as the Most Beautiful Girl in Abuja. I was covered with leaves.

I noticed you were once NOLLYWOODGOSSIP’s girl of the week, how did that affect your life?

Being the NOLLYWOODGOSSIP’s girl of the week affected my life positively. I was delighted. A lot of people met me for more jobs. It opened doors for me. I received messages on Facebook and mails from modelling agencies and movie makers.

On a lighter note, are you married or seeing anyone?

I am seeing someone

What qualities are you looking for in a man?

My man should be God fearing, hard working, caring, loving, romantic and must be cute and clean

How much must you be paid to pose Nood?

That’s a tough one. Sorry, I can’t say for now

Where do you see yourself professionally in the next two years?

I see myself growing higher professionally in the next 2 years by the specially Grace of God

Lots of people don’t know my inner beauty. I’m always myself. I can’t be another person all in the name of belonging. I am accommodating and a very happy person. My kind heart towards the less privilege.
