that's just sickening. whoever does that is just a rotten pervert. you might as well go and sleep with your great grand mother or father.

Inbreeding may result in a far higher phenotypic expression of deleterious recessive genes within a population than would normally be expected.[1] As a result, first-generation inbred individuals are more likely to show physical and health defects, including:

reduced fertility both in litter size and sperm viability
increased genetic disorders
fluctuating facial asymmetry
lower birth rate
higher infant mortality
slower growth rate
smaller adult size
loss of immune system function.

Thank you; I was about to say that: genetically it's wrong.

exactly, my point (assuming i can understand half of it). anyway i hope those that want to marry their sisters understand.

if you can do it, then you should be able to marry your mother of father( for ladies) it is absolutely wrong. Your blood is ur blood. i'm not surprised to see dadies sleeping with their daughter. Is that also wrong? if so, then whats the diff btw that and ur close relative?

Good question.  Where exactly DOES one draw the line?

I think maybe the general prohibition against marrying relatives may be based on the fact that it was thought to increase the chance of genetic defects.  Remember that prohibitions don't tend to be very proactive, rather, they are reactive to something already seen or experienced.
