Kanu on Tuesday said the film which would be shot across Europe, Asia and Africa, was not targeted at making money but to motivate the youths for greater achievements.
Proceeds from the film and book will be given to the Kanu Heart Foundation and the hospital project for heart patients that will soon be built.
"People are looking at my past and present achievement without knowing how it all started. This is not what we can say by word of mouth, because the world has gone digital, we just want to do something special to show the world that we have come a long way.
"For instance, not many will agree that one can walk from Victoria Island to Surulere, when it's not a marathon competition, but this has happened to us and we documented it," the former Arsenal of England player said.
He said the film and book would transcend his entire career, as he prepares for an imminent exit from active soccer.
