So the funny peeps at Nokia decided to come out with a new phone (x3) with ringtones that weren't cleared (No contract with the artist) on them. 2shotz has decided to take the bull by the horn by suing the grande mobile company to a Lagos high court and demanding N5billion for compensation over the copyright infringement (For those who don't know, 5billion Naira is same as $35 Million or £20 Million). The Nokia lawyers are arguing that they had a contractual agreement with "orchard music" to use those materials but 2shotz re-affirmed that only Omunamu records had the power to confine such agreement.
I know 5billion might sound huge, but come on, someone with this kind of chic needs alot of money (Monies and monieses) to maintain the cargo. I hope Nokia has learnt their lesson from these; trying to exploit out musicians.

Greed, why not try to enter a mutual agreement with Nokia first, then if F-up, he can then sue them. Should be happy they even considered his soundtrack... Nwa beef...

No amount of money is too much for Tooshotz if actually his right is violated by Nokia and he is following the law. let Nokia pay and ask for more cos i don't think stolen water would serve them well.
