Why do Christian men and women choose to look at pornographic web sites?

We sin, as Christians, of course. But we're not bound to sin any longer, therefore we should not be satisfied to live within it. If indeed pornography is a sin, or more specifically 'lusting' (Matt 5:28), then we should not feel damned to hell if we 'slip', but we should not feel comfortable in viewing porn and lusting - such would be contrary to 'dying to sin' and 'rising in Christ', living the new life He has given us.

In sum, then, Christ died once and for all for our sins. Grace declares that there is now no condemnation for those in Christ. But equally, being in Christ is dying to sin - and since the whole point of Christian living is 'new life' ("I have come to give you life, and give it to the fullest"), why should we have anything to do with deathly things? We shouldn't, and in grace we have the strength to declare that "we won't".

In my opinion it comes under "segxwal immorality" for which there are numerous verses condemning it e.g. 1 Corinthians 6 v 9. A lot of people view it as acceptable as you're not actually committing any wrong acts so to speak but I believe thinking about doing it is just as bad as doing it in some cases and also it distracts you from God as it is not Godly-could be described as a worldly treasure and in Matthew 12 v 34 Jesus says "For where your treasure is your heart will be also." so if you treasure pornography instead of God, your heart is in that and not where it should be.

Ironically, those christians watching pornography movie needs to reknew their mind with the word of God that liveth and abideth forever. The Grace of God is sufficient enough to overcome sins.

YOUR QUESTION IS... Why do Christian men and women choose to look at pornographic web sites? They simply lack the fear of God which gives wisdom and knowledge about what christ came to acomplish on earth.

My mind tells me dat 4 d fact ...............Sex and hw to make luv cant be taught in a church and for the sake of keeping their partners to avoid separations bcuz we are all human beingz. So one has to watch in oda to learn den do it pratical it wit his/her partners.

To look at porn is a choice that starts in the mind, reaches the heart and turns into an action that can trap a person and destroy many lives.

There is one scripture that say we are tempted by the desires of our heart.  If it is not there in the first place then one can not be tempted by it.  This goes for all things including pornography.  A Christian may see porn accidentally from a pop-up screen (it has happened to me) and the image can stain your brain if not dealt with immediately.  There are spirits involved like the spirit of lust and other unclean spirits that will try to entice and influcence one to embrace what was seen.  Thoughts and imagination began to dwell on the image, and that is the start.  I have witnessed porn consume a person because they did not control their thoughts or imagination when the image was first introduced to them.  For me, I had to pray and read the Bible for days to replace the horrible image that I saw.

One does not have to look at porn to find new ways to please their husband or wife.  There is alot of information available from a non-porn source.  In fact, porn it is not advised because porn treats people like a segxwal object, rather than a person which creates another whole set of negative issues within a relationship.
