It's actually common but people don't talk about it. mine did when i was about 5. one of the couple needs to go to court to file the papers. i don't know if the process has changed but the processing n everything takes less dan a year. someone serves the paper to the other spouse n both couple appear in court n the presiding judge finalizes d divorce

In a way it's a good thing dat there are factors like dat , that still prevents people from getting a divorce. Marriage really should be till death but i understand why some people are pushed to it though i think reasons such as he's poor, has no job, or she's not the woman i married, or cheating r not good reasons to get a divorce.

Divorce is fast growin in Nigeria these days. Everytime I go on Nigerian website I read about dem.
If cheatin is not a reason for divorce, then can u tell me wot is? Bcos my bible explicitly states that divorce should only be done on the ground of adultery. So wot r u saying?

If every couple in the world whose spouse has cheated on them got divorced, i don't think we gon have that many marriage left. i'm not saying cheating is right, we all know it's wrong but at the same time couples should learn to forgive instead of going through the divorce route, especially as christians. I said cheating bcuz nowadays couples get divorced just bcuz they suspect their spouse is cheating on them or say it happened once
