The events in Japan this years have given scientists the opportunity to observe, record and now study such movement and it's worth looking up. The world spinning on forever? Whoever claimed such a thing? Again, please refresh your knowledge. We have a very good idea when the sun will reach the end of it's cycle as a yellow sun. As we all know, we're dependant on the radiation (yes, radiation) of the sun for life on this particular planet. So when the sun reaches the end of it's cycle, so will life as we know it here. But don't hold your breath! We're talking about 5 billion years from now. But this is all off-topic, of course. The subject of the thread is the revival of a proven false claim, that the Bible shows the End of the World is nigh. It's been proven false over and over again in the last 2,000 years. No scientific discipline ever claims to be 100% accurate; hence double-checking, peer review, and so on. The theories about the origins of space and time arose out of centuries of observation and experiment by people all over the globe.
