Rape happens everyday in Nigeria, I wonder why people had to put the ABSU rape case ahead like it was the first ever rape case, SMH

When it comes to RAPE i really hate that,But why is it when it comes to rape,it is always refer that 18 years old man.But when it comes to the opposite sex,it will be that a 19 years old girl(why girl ? and not woman)has been raped,Why is 18 years old boy is a man and 19 years old girl is still a girl
