The Argentine ace cannot stop scoring and reached another historic milestone as his side continues to thrill Europe with a mega win away from home.

Lionel Messi's Champions League double against BATE Borisov in Barcelona's stellar 5-0 Group B win sees him reach 194 goals in all competitions to equal Ladislao Kubala's tally.

Kubala, the club's second-highest goalscorer, took 12 years between 1950 and 1962 to reach that tally. Messi has taken just seven since making his debut in 2004 for the Catalan club.

Naijapals can clearly report that the 24-year-old Argentine ace has now hit 127 goals in La Liga, 39 in the Champions League, 17 in the Copa del Rey, eight in the Spanish Supercup, two in the Club World Cup, and one in the European Supercup.

To become the club's all-time highest scorer Messi will need to beat Cesar Rodriguez's tally of 235.

An own goal from Aleksandr Volodko, a Pedro Rodriguez strike, Messi's double, and a late finish from David Villa saw the Spanish side win 5-0 in Belarus.
