It depends on individual, some buy u wine cos of the motive of getting you intoxicated, another could be just a sign  of being romantic and caring thus as a gentle man offering you wine, another could be just as a gift thus if he knows you love wine and the type u do, then he gets it for you, the final one could be just to spice up the date so you can share wine as a source of dating commitment. hope u cool.
