Take a look at this video. I was awakened by an early morning call from a dear friend in Ghana. Once again, her entire community has been flooded and deemed homeless by last nights flood.  I thank God for their lives because at last count 9 people have died.

She asked me to go to the net to see the devastation for myself.  I found this video of two Ghanaians speaking very candidly about the effects of bad governance and poor infrastructure on its people. I found their conversation to be humerous but very true in many ways.  Kiss

Please ignore the camera bouncing around and try to listen to their words. I know so many people who live in that area and  I personally drive that road whenever I am in Ghana. Any responsible government would have deemed that area a flood prone zone and not allow its citizens and businesses to build there. Take a look at the Vodaphone building and other business in that area.

Exactly! This situation is especially dangerous when humans and animals are treading in the same waters. Diseases such as E. Coli and Cholera are prevalent in these kinds of conditions.

What a shame to survive the flood only to die from disease.   :'(
