Quote from: Allen-jones on 26-11-2011 11:27 AM How many times will such news be posted on Naijapals only for it to turn out to be false I think the report is correct this time. The gentleman actually passed away in a UK hospital. May his soul rest in peace. He left his footprints on the history of Nigeria. No history of this country will be complete without a section describing his role in our history. dan fulani

I read most of the posts on this thread and discovered two things. First half of the people loved this man, the others do not care. Some of those who don't care were very disrespectful. Secondly, a lot here do not know much about the man. This is a very good time for people to go and read about his role in History of Nigeria. I say to you all who know little or nothing about Nigerian history to go and read about it. You might just learn something new. dan fulani

Quote from: BJKK2000 on 27-11-2011 09:57 PM Nigeria we have lost a great hero(Biafran poeple in particuler) Ikember rest in the lord Amen. Most people will agree with you that he was a hero to the Ibos. He loved his people (the Ibos) and did a lot for them. He made alot of sacrifice for them. Not a hero to all Nigerians. There are so many reasons for that. All have to do with the civil war. The war left lots of sad memories with many of our citizens. From my readings, I learned many people on both sides were devastated by the war. I hasten to add that he was not responsible for the war. dan fulani
