Ms. Laaw, I see you showed some interests in my post. Well, there is
some connections between religion and politics but that was not the
subject that my post was addressing. Mr. andyrado advocates revenge
for Boko Haram's bombing of Christian churches by praising those who
threw bombs at the children in the Mosque in Sapele. I was trying to
make him realise that that revenge in Sapele was exactly what the Boko
Haram sect wanted. Boko Haram and those Sapele criminals are all terrorists.
Now the connection between religion and politics in the context of Boko Haram
terrorism. Boko Haram is an Islamic sect and they were used by some politicians
right after the election of April 2011. Those who lost the elections paid Boko Haram
to cause those disturbance last April. The politicians have now distanced themselves
from Boko Haram. The christmas day bombing was extreme and comdemned by all.
There was a connection when it was convenient but that connection no longer exist.
