mekusj at 8-01-2012 04:47 PM (12 years ago) (m) What a country we are in. A place where if you seek justice, you will probably die before you get it like the UNILORIN ASUU lecturers but when you are in government it's gotten within 24hrs by the judge who pleads your case for you; Where you command in a day for removal of fuel subsidy but have to wait for up to 6 days after to tell the people why you are doing it, in the process reading the script verbatim; a country where you are ready to pay people to support you but turn a blind eye to the masses that put you in power; a country of failed promises where you are told to have faith in a system which has no works to show for it forgetting the biblical passage of St James that says, "Faith without works is dead." What a country, Nigeria we hail thee our own dear native land... Posted: at 8-01-2012 04:47 PM (12 years ago) | Newbie

mekusj at 8-01-2012 06:00 PM (12 years ago) (m) I like Genevieve a lot but I think she's backing the wrong horse this time around. Like in the case of the boy who cried wolf, Nigerians are tired of those who always blame someone else & want to see action, starting with fighting corruption from the top. Let's pray the country does not explode Posted: at 8-01-2012 06:00 PM (12 years ago) | Newbie

Oga Bello, I think it's Monalisa Chinda going around that Nollywood supported it, I think we will have to excuse her from the Union as she's the only one in support of GEJ heinous act. Monalisa, I will reserve my comment on your opinion. Posted: at 8-01-2012 09:56 PM (12 years ago) | Newbie

My biggest fear is how our leaders are wasting away with our resources, let's be a little bit logical or just think of this for once, let's assumed that oil is no longer flowing in Nigeria or Western World find another source of energy as they are already on the verge of it. Will Nigeria survive as our leaders debilitate, squandering with the funds realized from oil with their frivolity spending. Look at Saudi, they don't have to live on oil, they will survive alone on tourism. While the West is still trading with us, funds from our oil resources should be use wisely, I hope these people come to their senses before it is too late. donfred34 at 10-01-2012 01:35 AM (12 years ago) (m) I have seen wicked and corrupt leaders in other parts of the world that they don`t accept mistake and no matter how long the masses will protest for changes, they will always pay deaf ears. I wish, i were to be a leader or a president, i will learn from the mistake made by the previous leaders such as Mubbarack,Ben Ali, Mammar Gaddafi and many others. Mr president better think fast and revoke this feul subsidy plan be4 the problem get worst Posted: at 10-01-2012 01:35 AM (12 years ago) | Newbie
