Wonder shall never end in Nigeria politics and only in Nigeria this can happen. Some of the ministers not been retained by the Acting president are working round  in preparation of engaging seven lawyers to fight their battle of been sacked by the president. In the actual politics, ministerial post are not permanent positions and the appointment of ministers rest constitutional in the hands of the head of the government i.e ether the president or the prime minister depending on the political system of each Nation.A minister can be removed at anytime by these two persons for reasons best know to him ether this minister is under performing or not  in line with the political policies of his boss.Only yesterday Nicola sarkozy of France removed some of his ministers and replaced them without been questioned. What system are we operating in Nigeria?

point of correction jojo8 , it should read ministers to sue vp or acting president , yes they have every right to do that . and whats so news about that , since he too is not and never can he be a full president . so why sacking them ? even from a lay man look of things its unreasonable to do that

They are all corrupt and should be sacked!
Maybe The Acting President wants to reform the Naija govt, so he doesn't need them.
Period!

Acting President Jonathan will win this litigation.  Total waste of time.  Position of minister is not a permanent position.  If they do not fit with his vision for the country, he reserves the right to fire them.

They reserve the right to sue.

As far as Nigeria and the world is concerned, President Jonathan, acting or not acting, former VP, is still the President of Nigeria.  Some fringe elements may choose not to recognize him, but he is constitutionally within his rights and position to fire whomever he wants and keep whom he wants in his cabinet.

We may not like it, but it is his constitutional rights and we must respect and pray for him to use wisdom in his vision for the country Nigeria.

God bless Nigeria.  God bless our leaders.
