A statement released by the Nigeria Police Force says Dino Melaye was re-arrested on his sick bed this evening and would soon be charged to court. Read the statement below@

At about 1200Hrs of today Sen. Dino Melaye while in lawful custody of the Nigeria Police Force and being taken for arraignment in Federal High Court Lokoja, from Abuja, escaped from lawful custody when hoodlums and miscreants in Two (2) Toyota Hilux Vehicles blocked the Police vehicle conveying Senator Dino Melaye around Area 1 Round About, Abuja and in the process the Senator jumped out of the Police vehicle through the window and was rescued from the Police men by hoodlums and miscreants to an unknown destination.The Police team re-enforced and trailed Senator Dino Melaye to Zankli Hospital, Abuja where he was re-arrested. The Senator would be arraigned in court without further delay. Meanwhile, one of the Toyota Hilux vehicles used by the hoodlums and miscreants in aiding the escape of the Senator has been recovered by the Police investigation team. The Inspector General of Police has therefore directed a thorough investigation into the circumstances leading to the rescue and escape of Senator Dino Melaye from lawful custody.

Chai! How have the might fallen. Who doesn't love this government? Buhari is working. I am 36 years old and this is the first time in my life i have seen many so called mighty men fallen, paraded and treated like every other citizen. Honestly, this is an achievement and he is an APC. Gradually Nigeria will get close to other bigger nation where no one is above the law.

I can act this path, all i have to do, is pretend like i have fainted, and shake a bit, like am a log of wood, and i will wear my expensive wrist watch and look so good and tidy, i have no bandages and i have no wounds, and no blood, because i fainted since and i will be revived once i finish the drama.

he was lucky there was no exchange of fire between police and his thugs. they could have killed him on the spot. he better be careful otherwise he will not live to tell his story.

I got the plot Dino guys. And the National Assembly where his best friends are like Saraki and co have all fold their hands too.. watching. They all appear to be helpless this time. The truth is, it’s time we so called common man in nigeria sit down with pop corn and coka cola and watch this movie titled “ Fallen Untouchables”. Enjoy for once. No apc senator has criticized apc more than Shehu Sani from Kaduna. Dino is a thug and soon, his sources of wealth will be uncovered. His best friend Saraki was slapped with cctv case and that man went publicly to court without being forced to clear his name and he is the senate president. If Dino isn't guilty, he won't be playing all this script for months now..even jumping off moving truck, attempting to run to Morocco and even locking himself in his house surrendered my cops. Quite unfortunate that some people are not reasonable at-all. We are basing our judgement on police statements whom we all know to be great liars. Must he be charged in Lokoja. There is every tendency that Dino may be poisoned or injected with poisonous-chemical substances while in detention before trial. He can be charged to court or sued immediately police have concluded their investigations. You don`t need to detain in the cell and take by Hilux van him to Lokoja before he can be charged to court. Saying that Dino despite his size and weight jumped out from the Hilux window in the presence of heavily armed policeman is a big lie which a one day old baby knows. We are shameless in this country by certain comments we make in Nigeria.
