Pathetic: Gunmen Kill Bridegroom After Wedding in Kano

      Unknown gunmen stormed Kofar Dawanau quarters yesterday and killed a groom, Alhaji Lawan Kofar Dawanau few hours after his wedding to Siliya. The deceased, a 47 -year old and a staff of Ungogo LGA of Kano State was short dead by gunmen shortly after the Zuhr prayer. Eye witness said the assailant came to the area on a motocycle and asked an innocent girl to take them to his house which she did. Immediately they arrived at the house, the deceased came out from the nearby house and one of them identified him and shot at him, our source said.

It was gathered that the gunmen warned those around not to panic or make a distress call "we have a mission and any one around here should give way or else we shoot at him,"' they warned

The state police PRO Magaji Musa Majia confirmed the incident and said investigation is ongoing.
