1  Forum / Politics / Re: Ghanaian govt chasing us out, lament Nigerian Bizmen on: 5-07-2012 01:50 PM
in 1987 a Ghanian sailor working for a fishing company brought his sister to Nigerian. She was in perpetual awe at the number of cars on Nigerian roads that she declared, "There are too many cars in Nigeria how do people walk around?" She attempted to get my uncle to marry her by hook and crook, and even prostitution! And then, suddenly, Nigerians turn Ghana into the "London of West Africa"? What would you expect.  My people in Ghana, please come home let us fight for our God-given rights; let us terminally dessimate all the evil and wickedness in high places!!!

5  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: US Army prepares for Nigeria’s possible break-up on: 24-01-2012 02:49 PM
for many reasons indicated here and others that may be yet uncommonly known, the US would be positively disposed to the break up of Nigeria. driven by the frustrations of protracted, undetermined "private wars" it would be in Nigeria's best interest to break up. but, Nigeria's break up should not be at the behest of any foreign power, mighty or micro. if the people are not able to forge common unity pivoted on  equity, justice and freedom, then the time is right for us to negotiated a peaceful dissolution. now, is it the time, when anger in the land has not taken refuge in the many trenches of our blessed and endowed country.

Have you noticed that incidents of men forgetting to zip up their flies are more prevalent as they approach the middle ages? I often wonder what predisposing factors could be culprit in this trait. Any socially correct answers, please?

Nigerian society/families put pressures on ladies to get pregnant before wedlock, supposedly to avert a childless marriage.
Is it sensible for ladies to bow to those pressures

First time am hearing of this, used to think pre-marital pregnancy is an "abomination" - well according to religioys values

Ha! dguy, would this be "fabu"? Where have you been. Truth is the practice of "Show Belle To Marry" is more prevalent in your part of Nigeria. It is a time-tested reality. Ask those who should know.  Grin

What if He's not dead? Everybody seems to wish Him death.  Remember that His life is in God's hands. I pray for the will of God in his life and in Nigeria.
Nobody is wishing him death. Those wishing him death are his greedy wife and so-called kitchen cabinet members who want him to continue in office despite compelling medical advice for him to resign and take care of his ailments adequately. However, I hear he is not dead but on life support machine. I wonder which is more important to his family: the presidency or the man's life?

On the contrary the masses are afraid for for him. The masses do not wish The President dead. Only political jobbers are on that train, as they fail to realize that to factor their political advancement on another's death is a total endorsement of another premising his own advancement to their own.

May The President behealed and restored by God Almighty so that he would proceed to deliver this nation from the wolves within the vital fabrics of our nationhood. Amen!

And for how many year or how many kids??? let hear it

Yes, absolutely so! But, no kids.

It would be stupid and emotionally stressful to have kids under contract marriage, unless you choose to be detached from your kids, which I would consider signing one's own death warrant. However, I have nothing against surrogate parenting; that is, having "contract kids" outside marriage, provided the one who pays gets to keep the kids.  Grin

Tell her, my brother! I smell a palace coup!

Just think about this: She was "his arranger" and he was "her arrangee"; and as the story goes, he left all "the arrangements" to finally pick her (the arrangfer) in the stead.  Wink If I say "J", you say "U", one man say "J"; and another say "U"; omo, na u sabi!
