81  Forum / The Buzz Central / Re: Fans Criticize Timaya For Sending Unromantic Message To Babymama On Her Birthday on: 14-07-2015 02:56 PM
Some guys would post the sweetest and most romantic message on public media and go ahead and beat their girlfriend blueblack before the day is over. I believe she sees something in him and that's why she's stuck with him this long. His love story and yours don't have to be the same. His love story doesn't also have to fit with your fantasy. So for all those jobless people taking panadol on someone else's behalf, did she tell you her head aches?
82  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: Suicide Bombs: Muslims Kick As Army, Police Frisk Women In Hijab, Burka (Page 2) on: 13-07-2015 10:20 AM
Have the few that spoke, spoken for the entire muslim community?
If they have, then hijabs should be allowed in the mosques and other muslim gatherings but banned in other public places like schools, markets etc.
83  Forum / The Buzz Central / Re: Immediate Past Governor Of Benue State, Gabriel Suswam Denies Beating Wife on: 6-07-2015 01:30 PM
Bross. Stop denying. That's what we expect you to do if you're guilty.
If you're not guilty, sue whoever started the story and if there's no proof, they'll pay.
Except if you are afraid they may have proof. We know such information is easy to get over there. Unlike in Nigeria where a little money can expunge any information.

Story...Make una ask the wife, the dead husband may have given her the password to his acct in the name of LOVE.She knows what happened to the money.
They applied for an ATM card after his death so his wife could not have known the password.
What you should do instead, is to ask the bank how the ATM application sailed through without the account owner.
Is the bank now saying I can be at home and someone would apply for an ATM card for my account?

Please @ royal james robert try to be civil when on a platform like this.
People air their views, you're also free to air your opinions without resorting to insults.
You never know, you may be able to change someone's mind or opinion with civil criticism or objections.
However, when you resort to insults you seem like a gutter brawler who never passed through the walls of an institution, never had healthy competition with your peers and never learnt to be humble in victory and to learn from your defeats.
Even if you're being paid to defend some interests online, you should be worth your pay. You seem to be working against your benefactors for now.
When you hurl insults like this it only serves to buttress the points the person made because it makes it look like you either have no point or you're too dull to think up any.
Admin on this site should also check comments before allowing them on the site.
We also have younger ones on this site reading and learning. Lets educate them properly.
86  Forum / Relationships & Romance / Re: After Picking a Wedding Date and Friends Already Bought Aso Ebi, Pastor Says He is not My Husban on: 3-07-2015 04:53 PM
First of all, I think the prayer is coming at the wrong time. You're supposed to have prayed immediately you both decided you wanted to get married (before the aso ebi or wedding date or before informing anyone else except your parents).
Secondly, immediately you decided to put it in God's hands or seek His views, you should be sure you're ready for His response (except all you expected from Him was a "yes")
Thirdly, I expect that once you decided to pray about it, you had 2 choices 1, to pray for yourselves 2. to have someone (perhaps of higher spiritual calling or understanding) pray for you. This means you should, therefore, go to someone you're sure of.
Lastly, if you trusted him to pray for you, then you should trust whatever answer you get.

Poster! Please change the heading.
" I wouldn't mind" is quite different from "I'd love to"
It's quite suggestive and misleading.
A lot of people wouldn't bother reading the story. They just read the heading and then go on to comment.
88  Forum / The Buzz Central / Re: "I Hate God, Fu*k Him" - Nigerian Transgender, Stephanie Rose Throws Insult at God on Social Me on: 3-07-2015 11:23 AM
Please, readers should not take it hard with this guy.
He's obviously not okay up there.
If a man feels he's a cockroach or a rat trapped in a human body, we'll take him straight to a psychiatrist for treatment.
So, if a man feels he's a woman trapped in a man's body,......same applies.
Call them transgender or whatever you want, in my opinion, it's just a glorified name for MAD.
If readers would read the rants of a mad man and take offence in it or argue with him, then I wonder who is mad.
I for one only read a few lines of his write up before I started feeling sorry for him.
Seems he doesn't have family to take good care of him and get him good medical treatment.
Please guys no insults, just prayers.
Because he had a bath today doesn't mean he's okay.

I have always tried to remain indifferent on this issue but a lot of questions always come to my mind whenever I hear the phrase "sharia court"
* Is the sharia court above or under the supreme court in Nigeria?
* Is the sharia law in line with the laws of Nigeria?
* For those who may say the sharia law is neither above nor below the laws of Nigeria:Does it mean Nigeria has 2 separate laws running concurrently?
* Can every religion decide they want to be governed by their religious laws rather than the laws of Nigeria?
* If the answer to the above question is YES, what happens if every religion in Nigeria decide they want to be governed by their religious laws? What also happens if they go ahead to form a police force (to enforce the laws) and courts (to interpret their laws)?
* Are such institutions accommodated in the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria?
And many more questions like these.
Please can any of out learned friends on this forum enlighten me?
I'd really like to get some answers to these questions.

That's a very silly question to ask.
But just in case you really don't know the answer, I'll lead you there.
Was Micheal Jackson white?
When a Nigerian girl bleaches her skin, does she become a European?
If an "agbero" high on "igbo" thinks he's the president of the federal republic of Nigeria does it make him the president or a mad man?

Here is someone inviting you over to confirm facts. However, as a result of "lazy journalism" or just out of a need to sensationalize your headlines so the accused person looks guilty, you prefer to just quote the invitation for us to read.
It's not about sitting in an office and making phone calls and then writing a story once you're done.

Now you've been given the chance to make those changes and all you're making are excuses.
Get to work already!!!

When arresting her, they should arrest the owner of the voice too either as an accomplice or as an instigator.

We've seen that happen several times by new governments

High price, High risk.
You took the risk and it didn't pay off. I'm sure if it'd paid off you'd be singing a different song.
Only God knows how many guys you turned down (perhaps calling them small boys).
It's high time girls know that there are sooooo many girls after these guys. Most of them are probably more experienced and are willing to loose a foot and a hand to get them.
You should be ready to play the game or get with your mates.
Getting pregnant to tie a guy down is so yesterday.

I was quite moved by the story until I saw the word "Policeman"
I know it may not be right but whenever I see a policeman or their relations in any trouble all I can think about is all the cursed money they extort from people all over.
The innocent victims languishing in jail on trumped up charges when their only offence is failure to give bribe.
Those they have victimized and sometimes killed and accused their dead bodies of heinous crimes, and many more atrocities they commit day in day out.
Sometimes, when I can, I help them out but I still can't help feeling they deserve it.
I only feel sorry for the poor kid who is an innocent victim.
