Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: 93.9% of Nigerians are Poor – National Bureau of Statistics |
on: 13-02-2012 11:05 PM
| The issue with Nigeria is that people are still looking to the government to elevate them from the ashes of poverty! I personally have nothing against such an unrealistic idea--evidenced by the government inaction--but it's time to wake up from that dream. Our leaders have 51 years of record to prove that they care nothing for the people. It's about time that we the people kick them aside, and make lives for ourselves. If you wish to be something in Nigeria, you must do so independent of our so-called government! They have not desire to assist the masses; only self-interest driven. | | |

on: 30-12-2011 10:49 PM
| To brand a whole nation as scammers is an unacceptable, generic/blanket statement! Scammers/fraudsters are everywhere, regardless of the country.. Yes, even here in U.S. I am by no means endorsing the unscrupulous/wicked act of these thieves, but rather stating the obvious. To say that Nigerians abroad are giving Nigerians at home a bad name is quite a dishonest statement; Nigerians at home are doing so all by themselves. On the contrary, I believe that Nigerians(few)--with all the killings, insecurity, lawlessness-- are giving diaspora Nigerians bad name. You do not need our help; you're doing it all by yourselves. So, stop looking for whom to blame. When there's an issue with a tree, the root is the first place one should look! | | |

Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: There is no conflict between Muslims and Christians – Sultan |
on: 28-12-2011 12:12 AM
| For making such a statement, one can appropriately term this man delusional! Who is he trying to fool? Anyone can see most Muslims around the world are quite violent, causing commotion where there's no reason for such...and Nigerian Muslims are no exception. It's a pity we have a "boy-man" president, who would possibly swallow the pills of lie offered to him by his friend from the other side. His hands need to be forced a bit before he takes this boko haram group seriously. Can Muslims and Christians be friends? Sure!! Are we currently friends? You better not bet your life on that!! | | |

| @Poster: "Peace out and love to Nigerian ladies, I think you’re all beautiful. These observations are not meant to offend any of you; but a little dose of ‘keeping it real’ is always healthy."
You have a funny way of showing "love". These observations are not meant to offend any of you? Who are you trying to fool? Clearly, that was your objective and you made sure we all know it! Nonsense!! Obviously, you thought this was supposed to be funny. Sorry, man, but I am not accustomed to laughing at crude jokes and women-degrading articles! You, my friend, teach people how to treat you. If ladies treat you in the manners you've mentioned above, you have no one to blame but yourself!! Ladies, don't put up with this kind of rubbish!! Don't take it from him, and don't take it from any other man who perceive you this way..Nonsense!! | | |

on: 6-12-2011 01:28 PM
| As I am certain that most people in this site are younger, you younger generation better stop talking and start acting! The issue in Nigeria is that we expect someone else to fix our problems for us, when it is within our power to do so. You cannot expect a wolf to act like a sheep. If you wish, you can wait for the government to change. As for me, I am moving one...fast. If these crooked leaders get in my way, they will quickly find themselves as part of the ground! | | |

| Everyone knows United Nations is good for nothing! If they(U.N.) want they can feed the whole world without taking a penny from any outside source, but they are not doing that. Why? They are greedy like every other political institution. 50 cent, do it yourself; don't rely on the "money hungry/no good" United Nations!! | | |

| Every sin/wickedness will be rectified! Whether in this reality or the next, all wrongs will be made right. People of Nigeria, such an act cannot be shamefully covered as though we have no regard for justice/moral standard. Oh, what I would do these men, if they ever try this evil act on any relative of mine. I would not leave any stone un-turned in search for these criminals! Blot out evil from the land. If the authorities refuse to do their job, let us people(the real government) do it for them by joining hands together to render justice to this young woman. | | |

| The puppets carrying out the wishes of their western masters. If you don't believe me, look into population control. There is a reason why those who are targeted are "black", not just Nigerians. It's time that Africa starts to awake from her slumber, or we will be overrun by the few elitists! The time is NOW!! | | |

| @poster: Presuming your previous post is directed to me--being that my username isn't Helivesinme, but rather "Helives4ever"-- I haven't much to say concerning this topic anymore. It's quite obvious that your mind has been made up, unwilling to yield to anything besides what you've come to know as truth; I rest my case! Giving is a Godly principle I have tested in my life, and thus, by experience can truly testify that the Word of God is true! My talk wasn't birthed our of a mere theoretical/hypothetical jargon. Indeed, we shall find out in the age to come whose understanding is accurate regarding this topic[being that you feel differently about it]. Have a nice day! | | |

on: 14-05-2011 12:44 PM
| Naturally, singing produces the need to dance. If truly dancing didn't originate in the mind of God, my question for you then is, did music? So, millions of Jesus' lovers are wrong because you believe it wasn't Jesus' doctrine? The LORD shut the womb of Michal[II Samuel 6:20] for despising David in her heart of dancing before the LORD. I've read[and commented] in most of your posts here. You tread on a very dangerous line, my friend. Be careful that your post do not hold people in bondage. People, any preaching that holds you in bondage is NOT from God! | | |

| In actuality, tithing we established generations before Jacob: by Abraham[Genesis 14:20]. So, Jacob, when he came into being[Israel] wasn't doing anything new! Romans 11:11-24 talks about our[gentiles] being In-grafted into Jacob(Israel). Unless, of course, you choose to negate that fact and abide in your personal developed doctrine, I suggest you look into this reality! Because of the Israelites, we indeed know God, something you claimed we do not, according to your quotation of Ephesians 2:11-13. Your quote states the precise opposite of your claim--that we indeed know God, through Christ Jesus! And your quotation of Matthew 23:23, Jesus wasn't advocating the negligence of tithing, for He said in the same verse, "these[tithing] you ought to have done, without neglecting the others. As for your claim that Jesus never discussed a matter of tithing, what do you think Matthew 6:19-24 is talking about? Also, care to show me where tithing is considered a "law"? Being that I am uncertain whether is was included in the "law" of Moses, and you claiming it's the "law", please enlighten me by showing me scripturally that such is so.. If you're going to handle the Word of God in this manner, please be careful what you're preaching that you do not lead people astray or cause confusion to arise within their minds! Have a blessed day. | | |

| Bro,what kind of advise is this: "My advice to you is that if you want to LIVE longer when it comes to r/ships, date a woman as if you know that you two will separate the next minute." Anyone who treats a relationship[or love for that matter] in such a manner doesn't deserve a good one when it comes!! | | | |
