"I WASTED SIX YEARS OF MY LIFE WITH JIM IYKE"- EX GF KETURAH HAMILTON LAMENTS

Jim Iyke's sad and heartbroken Jamaican ex-fiancee Keturah Hamilton tells Diasporan Star:

"These days, I ask God: Why has thou forsaken me? How can a man with whom we had gone through the highs and the lows – a man who had professed so much undying love for me over the past six years just walk away like that? I don’t know what happened and I wish I could put a finger on it. He took away six years of memories, of support of love and all that I did for him – just like that. How mean and callous can one get?

Jim was supposed to come to New York and stay for six months, during which time, he would go to an acting school here in New York and then we would move to Los Angeles and get married and pursue our acting dreams. I was looking forward to that with eagerness and then he just walked away” she began to sob according to Diasporan Star

144  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / All Nigerian Press Men Are Going To Hell- Majek Fashek on: 8-06-2013 09:49 PM
Hmm, Majek Fashek has been rumored to be sick in the past. As a mater of fact, he was sick. Here is what he said in a recent interview about the Nigerian press, infact Africa as a whole, lol. Me i am not going to hell o, but making heaven. Enjoy the short interview after the cut.

What message do you have for people; especially those who say you are sick?Me?
I don’t have any message for anybody, the message I have for the Nigerian press is that they are going to hell.
Why? Hell? And do you know you are also including me?
Not you, but for those who always write and give false information about me and for blaspheming the prophet. Me and Jesus Christ, we are one, me I no dey follow Jesus Christ like Christian o, I am following Jesus Christ in a different way and in different form. So, the Nigerian press that is running against the truth will go to hell, it’s not you I am referring to. Okay, who gave me rain maker? It was the Nigerian press that was good press like you. May God help you in your press profession. It was good people like you then that gave me rain maker in the late 80s and I am sure you must be in secondary school then, abi I lie? They don’t take bribe, it is you that will use your sense to give them envelope, they don’t demand anything from you, and it is you that will give them, not them demanding for it. But the press we have now will always demand for bribe. So, Nigerian press, no don’t let me use Nigerian press, let me say African press, is fed up because of bribery and corruption.

But would you agree with me that you are sick?
Yes, I was sick, anybody can be sick. What I have is spiritual problem which I am dealing with. Even in the Bible, it was stated that we are not fighting against flesh and blood, but wickedness in high places. I am a freedom fighter, I can never be shot like Lucky Dube, I am invincible, you can’t shoot me. I am Anikulapo.

146  Forum / Politics / What Abiola Told Me Before He Died ––Son, Lekan, Reveals on: 8-06-2013 08:13 PM

For the first time, Lekan Abiola, one of the sons of late Chief MKO Abiola, the acclaimed winner of the free and fair June 12, 1993, revealed certain facts that his dad told him about the election, the dirty politics in Nigeria and what he told him the last day they met in his detention cell before his death.

The interview is indeed an interesting read. Except:
What do you think about the annulment of the outcome of the 1993 presidential election which your father was believed to have won?Of course, I was very disappointed and I felt a sense of betrayal because IBB was someone we knew very well. This was somebody who assured the nation that he was leaving, how can he do that? If all along, he knew that he had no intention to leave, why did he allow my dad to go all the way, do all the campaigns and spend all that he spent? He could have told my father. But as a family, we have forgiven him; we have taken it as act of God.

Have you had an opportunity to speak with IBB since then and what transpired?
Yes, I met him (IBB) about three years ago and we discussed. But he could not explain much but that he himself regretted what happened and that the whole situation was out of his hands. He said that his hands were tied and that there were many things that he could not discuss. He said we should let bygones be bygones and to bury the hatchet.

Wednesday will make it 20 years since the historic June 12 presidential election was held. Where were you when you heard about your father’s death?I was in the United States when I heard the news. We were preparing to watch a World Cup game between Brazil and Holland. I had expected my father to have been released. I was expecting a call. I went to pray and when I came back, I saw all my friends who had gathered together to watch the game but they were all looking gloomy. Instead of the television to be tuned to a football channel, I noticed that it was tuned to CNN. I put all of these together and asked ‘is my father dead’? They replied that they were just finding that out. It was really shocking because we were expecting that he would be released. Instead, what we got was the news that he was dead. And remember that my mum had died two years before, so losing both parents on the same issue hurt very much. It was painful for all of us but more painful for some of us who are Kudirat’s children, in particular, because his death meant that we had lost both our parents. So, where do you start from? It was a disaster; the worst case scenario.

Why do you consider yourself luckier than your siblings?
The last time I saw my father alive, he was in detention and there were about 10 of us – all siblings – waiting to see him. It was at the police commissioner’s office in Abuja. This was like four years before his death. We were there waiting and we had waited for like two hours. I remember thinking to myself that when daddy comes out, I would like to be the one that he would see first. Like five minutes after I thought of it, they all left, some to get drinks because we were all thirsty. Almost immediately they all left, they brought my dad out and I had my wish because I was the only one there. It was after like 10 or 15 minutes before others came back. I had an extra 10 minutes with him and you can’t buy that with N1 million. That was the last time all the 10 of us that went saw him. Before they came, my father and I chatted and joked one on one. He had a beard and I said ‘daddy, this beard fits you’. It was totally black and he had always been clean shaven; that’s why I said I was fortunate to have that extra moment with him.

The last time you saw your father, when you had about 10 extra minutes with him, what did he tell you?
He (MKO) told me to be strong and to make sure I pray a lot. He said he would never back down and that we should not be discouraged. He said he was sure that he would win back his mandate and that I should be very prayerful, hold on to God and to tell my younger ones to do the same.

147  Forum / Relationships & Romance / Update On Mallam Sanusi Sex Scandal With Married Woman on: 8-06-2013 08:01 PM

Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, Governor of Nigeria’s Central Bank , appears unable to shake off a report that he funneled Nigeria's scarce resources to Maryam Yaro, a married mistress whom he gave a job at the bank he oversees. The scandal, in which Sanusi was accused of abusing his office in order to advance an amorous relationship with a woman, broke last week.

What is going on underground about the sex scandal? Details below...
Sources told Sahara Reporters that Premium Times has been under intense pressure from associates of the CBN Governor since the expose was published.

In the wake of the report, the CBN also issued a widely circulated rebuttal claiming that Ms. Yaro was never a staff of the bank, that she was employed at Nigeria Incentive-based Risk Sharing Systems For Agricultural Lending (NIRSAL), and that the governor had no hand in her recruitment.

But records obtained by Sahara Reporters suggest that the bank’s claims are an attempt to muddle up the facts. NIRSAL, to which Ms. Yaro is attached, is a special purpose vehicle (SPV) set up by the Federal Government through a partnership between the CBN and the Federal Ministry of Agriculture. Besides, the project is domiciled in the Development Finance Department of the CBN.

It is the CBN’s human resource department that hires staff for NIRSAL, and it is Mr. Sanusi who approves all recruitments into the agency, insiders say.

Records available to us indeed showed that, contrary to CBN’s claims, Mr. Sanusi directly and personally approved Ms. Yaro’s recruitment.

Investigations by Sahara Reporters revealed that, after approving Ms. Yaro’s hiring and sending her file back to the bank’s human resource department, Mr. Sanusi sent a message to his mistress on June 25, 2012 saying, “I’m in South Africa. I approved your recruitment last week.”

Ten minutes later, Ms. Yaro responded: “You have made my day. Thank you so much. Let me know when you are back.”

When the human resource department delayed in sending her appointment letter, Ms. Yaro contacted Mr. Sanusi to complain.

“I have not heard anything from CBN since you approved my recruitment,” she wrote in a July 9, 2012 message. “Is there anything I need to do?”

A source told Sahara Reporters that, following her complaint, Sanusi contacted the CBN human resource department urging them to expedite action on her case.

Eight days later, on July 17, 2012, Ms. Yaro informed Mr. Sanusi that the human resource department had finally acted on his instruction. “Allah nguro, I have been issued my letter of offer,” she said in a message. “Thank you so much. When can I come and see you?”

When she submitted her acceptance letter to human resource, Ms. Yaro promptly informed Mr Sanusi and thanked him again for helping her to get the job.

After Ms. Yaro assumed duties at the CBN headquarters in Abuja, human resource department produced a business card for her. She was described as follows: “Dr. Maryam W. Yaro, Nirsal Project Implementation Office (NPIO), Development Finance Department, Central Bank of Nigeria.”

Even the documents released by the CBN are clear as to whether Ms. Yaro could be regarded as a staff of the CBN, and whether the governor played a role in her recruitment.

For instance, official memos detailing the processes leading to her recruitment are marked “internal,” originating from NIRSAL to other units of the bank. Her appointment letter, written on CBN letterhead, was signed by Chizoba Mojekwu, director, human resources department of the bank.

The CBN’s so-called rebuttal did not say why its human resource director would sign an appointment letter for a staff or consultant of another agency independent of the bank.

In its rebuttal, the bank provided evidence of communications leading to Ms. Yaro’s employment in 2012, but provided none relating to any public announcement of the vacancy she filled. The law requires that such a post must be publicly announced to enable interested candidates to apply.

The details show that the bank treated Ms. Yaro’s employment expressly, with memos between NIRSAL office and CBN’s top management indicating how Mr. Sanusi endorsed her recruitment.

In one document seen by Sahara Reporters, a helpless staff of the bank raised concern about Ms. Yaro’s recruitment. In a memo requesting Mr. Sanusi’s approval of the recruitment, the concerned staff minuted: “Please approve as prayed above. [But] We should take into account diversity in future recruitment.”

In approving the recruitment, Mr. Sanusi dismissed the staff’s concern, and wrote: “Approved. I think gender is a good basis for diversity here and candidate is qualified.”

Ms. Yaro’s recruitment process took a matter of weeks, and she received her letter of offer in July 17, 2012 and promptly communicated same to the CBN boss while also informing him of her planned date of assumption of duties.

Some sources within the CBN suggested to Sahara Reporters that some of the documents circulated by the CBN were forged and backdated as a face-saving measure.

Sahara Reporters learned that the details of the affair between Mr. Sanusi and Ms. Yaro have stirred anger and outrage within the bank and beyond. Critics have focused on the fact that Mr. Sanusi, a public officer, traveled on jets funded by taxpayers to keep appointments with Ms. Yaro at expensive hotels. Until this scandal broke, Mr. Sanusi was highly respected even if some of his policies, like doling cash to victims of terrorist attacks in Kano, were controversial.

Premium Times has said: “We stand firmly by our story and look forward to the moment the CBN Governor will boldly look Nigerians in the face and say any of the things we reported did not happen.”

Villagers Lynch Rapist & Bury Him Beside His Victim

Villagers in Bolivia’s southern highlands buried a man alive in the grave of the woman he is suspected of having raped and murdered, an official said Thursday.

Police had identified 17-year-old Santos Ramos as the possible culprit in the attack on 35-year-old Leandra Arias Janco Sunday in a Quechua community near the municipality of Colquechaca, said Jose Luis Barrios, the chief prosecutor in Potosi province where the community is located.

Enraged, more than 200 community members seized Ramos and buried him alive alongside his alleged victim Wednesday night, according to Barrios. He said residents on Thursday blocked the road to the community, preventing police and prosecutors from reaching it.

A local reporter for an indigenous radio station, who would only speak on condition of anonymity for fear of reprisals, told The AP that Ramos was tied up at the woman’s funeral. Mourners threw him into the open grave, placed the woman’s coffin in it and filled the grave with earth.

Colquechaca is a town of 5,000 inhabitants located 207 miles (333 kilometers) southeast of Bolivia’s capital, La Paz.

Also in Potosi, residents of the Quechua indigenous community of Tres Cruces on Wednesday stoned to death a suspected thief and burned his accomplice alive, Barrios said. The official said the two had earlier robbed a car and killed its driver.

Lynchings sometimes occur in rural and poor parts of Bolivia where police and other authorities are scarce.

151  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Man Woke Up To See His Nose Remove By Doctor After Surgery! on: 7-06-2013 11:04 PM

A man woke up after getting a nose job to find that the plastic surgeon had removed his nose entirely.
Patient Vishal Thakkar went to Dr Angelo Cuzalina, the president of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, for more than eight surgeries over the course of a half a dozen years.

Mr Thakkar said after he went through a divorce in 2006, he decided to 'do something selfish' and get a nose job. He was living in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the time and went to one of the leading plastic surgeons in the area, Dr. Cuzalina.

Thakkar before his surgery
Dr Cuzalina could not be reached for comment and his lawyers previously denied interview requests from Fox 23 on the grounds that they would not be able to speak about Mr Thakkar's medical history given doctor-patient confidentiality agreements.
Thakkar says that after the first surgery he suffered some relatively minor breathing problems that occurred when he slept or worked out.

He went back to Dr Cuzalina eight times within the year to treat various fixes from the previous treatments.

 Dr Cuzalina
Before one of the surgeries, Thakkar alleges that he specifically told one of Dr Cuzalina's nurses that he did not want them to take any cartilage from his ears should they need it for his nose during the surgery.

When he woke up a few hours later, he had pain behind his ears because they had done just that. Fox 23 says the doctor later emailed an apology to Mr Thakkar.

Those recordings were then used as justification for Dr. Cuzalina's August 31, 2012 letter where he said that he would no longer operate on Mr Thakkar because of his 'ongoing threats and harassment against my staff, my practice, and me personally'.

As a part of Mr Thakkar's lawsuit, he went on to say that the plastic surgeon, who is the president of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery and has no prior complaints filed against him in the state of Oklahoma, gave him a dangerous mix of prescription medication.

The lawsuit says Mr Thakkar was 'prescribed an excessive amount of medication, enough to kill the patient, if taken, including but not limited to Loratab, Ambien, Valilum, and Oxycodone.'
This is far from the end of his plastic surgery nightmare, however, as he is determined to fix his face.

'There is no way I am going to live like this. It is worse than being dead,' he said.

Hello Ladun,

I met this my husband in a fast food joint some years back, and while we were dating i never knew him to be into women before we married. We had some hiccups as in the family members including the mum did not like me as such. But we went on to fix date and got knot up. My dear after marriage, a week after, women started calling him, and at one point i decided to hide my number to call one of them, and found out that, he was into women a lot.

So this now became so pronounced that most times, he does not sleep at home, he is a military man though, and he brings women and sleeps with them in the base. His friends knew all of these, and when I  confront them because they knew what he is into they will just say they would talk to him.
I have confronted him myself and he told me, if I don’t like it, then I should leave him. He travels a lot because of the nature of his job, so this last time when he came back, he never slept at home for once, he comes back very late, he has been very unfaithful to me, though we have been married for some time now and no kids. I am a believer and I have told God that I will not  sin against my  body and God.

We have a car that we both use, and I use it during the day while he uses it at night. Now most time when I want to go to the office, I will see some funny things in the car, like a woman’s hair, a lipstick kiss on the chair, condoms and the most recent one that has made me to write this is, just this morning. I saw a woman’s bra hand in the car. My parents are aware of all these, but for some time, he has stopped relating to them about what happens to me.

Majority of his friends are not married, and even the ones that are married are worst than a single fellow.
One thing he does that grips me is the fact that he uses his male friends picture as his dp on bbm instead me or his mum as he's always done.

Myself and his male friend's birthday was just the same day, he chose to make his friend’s birthday unique by even went out with him to make it well for him while my own, he returned home frowning.

What do you think I can do to get out of this mess I am into? I no longer concentrate at work.
I am not happy at all, my pastor has told me not to go that the Lord will make all things beautiful.

The bitter truth is that I don’t know whether he already has children out side.

I am so unhappy…………………………………….. because  I have  a lot to say but don’t want to bore people with my stale saga.

The Chief Executive Officer, Etisalat Nigeria Mr.Steve Evans, has described the celebrated porting of the comedian Hafiz Oyetoro popularly known as Saka as a mistake, noting that he will return back to Etisalat fold after 90 days.

Speaking in Lagos yesterday at a media Roundtable on Mobile Number Portability (MNP) , Evans noted that “We all make mistakes in life” and the decision by Saka to port from Etisalat to a rival network MTN Nigeria was one of such mistakes on the part of the comedian.

In what could be regarded as one of the official statement by any high ranking staff of Etisalat since Saka ported over a month ago, Evans said he is hoping Saka would realise his mistakes and port back at the end of the 90 days grace period given by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) for subscribers to port back to any other his original network.

The CEO noted that Etisalat was well prepared for the MNP and has built and expanded its network to accommodate over 30 million subscribers which is double its present capacity.

He noted that his company has recorded very impressive results since the MNP kicked off on April22. Though he refused to provide the details but said he was satisfied with the report he was getting from his men on the field.

Furthermore, Evans maintained that his company has improved tremendously in its Key Performance -indicator (KPI) ratings.

He rushed a female officer, but was subdued. He was also bleeding from his head. It turns out he tried to get into a stolen car nearby that had New Jersey plates. Police contacted the man’s brother who said the man had mental issues and used drugs. He was taken to St. John Hospital for evaluation.

The dog is believed to be a pit bull or mix. It is not clear if charges will be issued against the man. To end it all, the female officer collapsed on the scene from exhaustion.
